The Tyle Star System is dominated by the Persean League.

Tyle, Orange Star[edit | edit source]

Tyle

Slightly cooler and smaller than Old Earth's sun, this class K star most resembles Alpha Centauri B. It is particularly stable, burning on the lower end of the main sequence for tens of billions of years and thus considered a likely host to life-bearing and terraformable planets.

Satanazes (Tyle I), Gas Giant[edit | edit source]

Tyle I: Satanazes

A hot gas giant primarily composed of hydrogen and helium gases, though due to proximity to its primary star the upper cloud layers of Satanazes are formed of carbon monoxide and akali metals resulting in a dark, glowering appearance.

–In-Game Description

  • Orbits Tyle

Cibola (Tyle II), Desert World[edit | edit source]

Tyle II: Cibola

An ancient world spotted with stumps of ancient volcanoes worn out by hot, dry winds into a world-ocean of sand. A few underground aquifers remain to feed at least one small, salty sea and the rare chasm sheltering wisps of vegetation.

Many cycles ago, an ancient sporeship from the early days of human colonization encountered Cibola. An anomalous series of icy bodies had impacted the world, leaving it cooler and wetter than its equilibrium state and therefore within the sporeship’s colonization parameters. No history has survived of the subsequent cycles, but the late Domain colonizers who arrived in the Persean Sector found a dying world populated by a small, backward, and desperate human civilization clinging to survival. The situation is little improved since re-contact, and most Cibolans have left their homeworld - or wish they could.

–In-Game Description

  • Persean League Market
    • Spaceport
    • Light Industrial Complex
    • Ore Refining Complex
    • Organics Mining Complex
    • 10^5 Population
  • Orbits Tyle

Dorado (Tyle II-A), Barren-Bombarded World[edit | edit source]

Tyle II-A: Dorado

A lifeless rocky world, the battered surface tells an aeons-long story of intermittent meteor bombardment. What atmosphere there is clings to the scarred crust in near-vacuum. There is no significant magnetic field or tectonic activity. Deep regolith prevails, crossed by lava channels and spotted by ancient lava seas formed by especially large impacts.

Makeshift Nav Buoy[edit | edit source]

Makeshift Nav Buoy

Built using the best technology available in the Sector, a nav buoy monitors the in-system hyperfield and is capable of transmitting its findings to friendly fleets in-system. The data is often somewhat unreliable but still useful in making on-the-fly drive field adjustments.

  • Orbits Tyle as Cibola's L4 trojan

Tyle's Archipelago (Asteroid Field)[edit | edit source]

  • Orbits Tyle between Cibola and Zuni

Zuni (Tyle III), Barren World[edit | edit source]

Tyle III: Zuni

Radiation from the nearby star ravages the surface of this world due to the lack of an atmospheric ozone layer. No significant geological activity. No indifenous life forms.

–In-Game Description

  • Orbits Tyle

Wuya Gate (Inactive Gate)[edit | edit source]

Gate

A solid ring of adamantine material, derelict of a former age.

–In-Game Description

  • Orbits Tyle as Zuni's L4 trojan

Wuya Jump[edit | edit source]

  • Inner system jump-point
  • Orbits Tyle as Zuni's L5 trojan

Antillia (Tyle B), White Dwarf[edit | edit source]

Tyle B: Antillia

The beginning of the end for most stars, the white dwarf was once a red giant not massive enough to fuse carbon. Extremely dense and slowly radiating away its heat as it no longer undergoes fusion reactions, its volume is supported against gravitational collapse only by electron degeneracy pressure.

Kardara (Tyle B I), Barren-Bombarded World[edit | edit source]

Tyle B I: Kardara

A lifeless rocky world, the battered surface tells an aeons-long story of intermittent meteor bombardment. What atmosphere there is clings to the scarred crust in near-vacuum. There is no significant magnetic field or tectonic activity. Deep regolith prevails, crossed by lava channels and spotted by ancient lava seas formed by especially large impacts.

–In-Game Description

  • Orbits Antillia

Canaria (Tyle B-L4), Ice Giant[edit | edit source]

Tyle B-L4: Canaria

A giant planet composed primarily of water, ammonia and methane. Within the depths, gravity generates enough pressure to form a core of metallic hydrogen.

–In-Game Description

  • Orbits Tyle as Antillia's L4 trojan

Canaria Relay[edit | edit source]

Canaria Relay

A Domain-era technology used primarily on the frontier, this is a hyperwave communications array which transmits and receives data between star systems at faster-than-light speeds. The rapidly pulsing hyperwaves suitable for FTL data transmission have been shown to damage DNA so these relays are always stationed away from habitats.

–In-Game Description

  • Orbits Canaria

Madeira (Tyle B-L4-A), Tundra World[edit | edit source]

Tyle B-L4-A: Madeira

A small and cold but just-habitable world deemed insignificant enough by Domain colonization planners to harbour a fuel production facility. Otherwise notable for exotic volatiles captured from its primary and the fluorescing pseudo-algaes which live within the cracks of vast storm-swept ice-fields that dominate the surface of Madeira.

Knowing that Madeira would always rely on outside resources for survival, the Domain would count on the polity's loyalty. The Collapse was not accounted for in this equation, however, and the Madeiran polity was among the founding members of the Persean League despite its modest population and limited industry.

–In-Game Description

  • Persean League Market
    • Regional Capital
    • Antimatter Fuel Production Facility
    • Military Base
    • Volatiles Mining Complex
    • 10^6 Population
  • Orbits Canaria
