One of the most dangerous Omega weapons despite dealing next to no damage, the Reality Disruptor fires a black projectile that passes through objects(including debris) and which constantly fires red EMP arcs at nearby enemy targets while traveling. The arcs fire quickly and deal 1,500 EMP damage each, as well as having a secondary effect of slowing down repairs of any disabled component by half for 10 seconds.

Because the arcs are omnidirectional and the projectile that spawns them has no collision, they can hit the traget from any direction; furthermore, the penalty to repair speed applied means a ship can be disabled indefinitely. In practice the only guaranteed way to defend against the Reality Disruptor is to have 360 degrees shields(or at the very least 180+ degrees omnishield which can rotate towards the projectile, but even that is risky) Alternatively you can just bring more ships so that you can keep the fight going even if one gets disabled.
