–Description of Kanta's throne room[1] |
Warlord Jorien Kanta is the most powerful pirate leader in the Sector.
Biography[]
Kanta was a Domain Armada logistics officer who was alive prior to the collapse. During the invasion of the Sector by the warlord Onesimos Loke, Kanta betrayed the Hegemony and turned over the Hegemony base in the Magec Star System to Loke. When Hegemony officer Phillip Andrada defeated Loke, Kanta again turned traitor, spacing the remaining Loke loyalists and established herself as a pirate warlord over the remains of Loke’s fleet.[2][3]. "Doctor" Wyatt Cydonia created a defective clone of Loke for Kanta as a pet.[1]
Kanta also kept the engineer Elissa Zal as a favored prisoner. When Scylla Coureuse required Zal's assistance to complete the Janus Device, the player travelled to Kanta's Den to secure her release. If the player does not choose to rescue Zal by force, Kanta offers to give her up in exchange for recovering the Loke clone, who had been abducted by the Pather terrorist Livewell Cotton. She then reneges on the deal, but Zal uses the opportunity to escape with the player.
Gameplay[]
The player can make an offering to Kanta to permanently (unless the player later betrays her) remove the pirate contribution to the Hostile Activity meter. Up to five potential offerings will be displayed at once. A list of allowed offerings:[4]
