Eagle-class cruisers are often found at the core of military fleets headed for battle. It is not hard to see why: A strong overall profile, with a robust engine, the Eagle's deadly weapons package is a threat to all enemies.

The Eagle can deliver a strong tactical punch to enemy formations. Its numerous turret and hardpoint emplacements make it very dangerous to smaller foes. Decent armor and a strong shield emitter let it hold space while outnumbered, or even when faced with the rare larger ship.

These strengths are somewhat countered by strike craft - an Eagle captain must always watch their scopes for an approaching strike squadron, since their ship will be easily crippled by multiple hits from modern strike weapons.

The embodiment of the sleek and powerful space cruiser from the time of the Domain, the Eagle-class ships are a beautiful reminder of the technological and aesthetic achievements of humanity's past.

A survivor of the original 14th Domain Battlegroup which founded the Hegemony, this ship is a prime specimen of the Domain Navy's 'decisive battle' doctrine, particularly exhibited by a series of radical structural modifications performed using pre-Collapse industrial technology.

Modified for operations in the Askonia system under orders from Supreme Executor Philip Andrada, this hull includes integrated solar shielding as well as a peculiar internal cladding provided by an industrial conglomerate out of Sindria itself. That the chief designer, appointed by the Supreme Executor for his many cycles of loyal service, sits on the board of that conglomerate is simply an example of the unity and efficiency of the Sindrian Polity.

Loadout Tips[]

Eagle LineShip Loadout

The Eagle is a line cruiser, it's not designed to go out and fight at the front. It does not have the flux to handle especially flux-hungry weapons like the Assault Chaingun. Maneuvering Jets are meant to help adjust its position as necessary.

The hardpoints should be equipped With two Hypervelocity Drivers and one Heavy Mauler for a balance in kinetic and anti-armor damage. It should be sustained with the aid of either two Graviton Beams and one Ion Beam, or three Graviton Beams in all three medium energy turrets.

LR PD Lasers in frontal small energies provide point defense for itself and allies, while and two PD Lasers in the back cover the engines, keeping ship safe from Salamander MRMs if enemy will be using them, as well as fighters, albeit with worse effectiveness against the latter.

It's recommended to equip the Eagle with an Integrated Targeting Unit for range, and Hardened Shields to increase its survivability.

The Eagle is able to bring out the full potential of the Missile Autoloader hullmod. for its two small missiles. As the Eagle generally lacks knock-out power, being able to toss more Harpoon MRMs or Reaper-class Torpedoes at enemies can be worth the investment.
