Armed with a highly damaging torpedo, the Dagger is fragile but equipped with a shield generator that usually enables it to get within launch range. However, even a large torpedo barrage is unlikely to get through concentrated point-defense fire without a distraction.

Notes[]
A great and versatile bomber wing, you can't go wrong with these if heavy firepower is needed against well-armored or bigger ships. Will still do decent even against faster ships like frigates and destroyers because of the homing torpedoes. However, it has poor defenses and the torpedoes can get shot down easily, so send in some fighters or other distractions to help their payload reach their target.
Compared to the Tridents (which also have Atropos torpedoes) they cost less OP and are faster, but have less protection and can only fire one torpedo per run. For this reason, Daggers may be better for pure carriers like the Heron where they can be launched safely behind the front lines.
