The Breach SRM Pod is a dedicated armor-stripping missile which deals additional 250 damage to armor which is not affected by armor. This each missile is guaranteed to reduce the target's armor by 250 in addition to the base 150 explosive damage it deals. It is the larger version of the Breach SRM.

The Breach SRM has good range, speed and tracking, and is quite difficult to intercept with individual missiles having almost as much HP as the Reaper-class Torpedo. The pod also has a deep ammunition pool; with Expanded Missile Racks and/or the Missile Specialization skill it can almost be left on autofire and still have ammunition after the battle. However it is also very easy to stop with shields as the missiles deal only 150 base explosive damage.

Due to it's "Anti Armor" designation, AI or autofire generally will only fire this missile if there's reasonable chance to hit armor, such as vs overloaded enemy, or enemy close to overload.
